Does my child have to take a nap?

According to Community Care Licensing every child not in Kindergarten should be given an opportunity to sleep if they want to. This means we must provide them with a quiet place for resting.

Can you wake up my child early?

It is considered a violation of a child's right to force them to wake up.
 

Can my child stay awake at nap time?

It is considered a violation of a child's right to not allow them to rest.

What do children sleep on?

We must provide a mat or cot, the child should have a sheet to cover the bed item and a blanket to cover up. Items an be provided by the school or asked to be brought from home. 

 

Why do I need to bring a crib sheet?

A crib sheet fits on the mats for our preschoolers. They remain snug so they do not come off the bed while the child is asleep.
